What is DocuChat?

DocuChat is a powerful tool that transforms your documents and websites into an AI-powered chatbot. By converting static content into dynamic, interactive conversations, DocuChat enables you to deliver knowledge in a more engaging and accessible way.

How does DocuChat work?

Our system utilizes AI models and techniques, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), to ground responses in the content you provide. Simply upload your documents, and DocuChat will create a chatbot that delivers answers directly from your materials, ensuring factual accuracy and up-to-date information.

Create Your First Chatbot

Creating your first chatbot with DocuChat is easy. Here's how you can get started:

  1. Go to Create Chatbot page (or click on "Create Chatbot").
  2. Give your chatbot a name and import your documents. You can upload files or add websites to train your chatbot with the knowledge it needs.
  3. Hit "Create Chatbot". DocuChat will now process your documents and send you a notification once your chatbot is ready.
  4. Once ready, you can click on your chatbot to start interacting with it. Or you can click on "Share" to share your chatbot with others.

Fine-tune Your Chatbot

Your chatbot only needs a name and documents to get started, but you can customize it further to suit your needs. Here are some options you can explore in the the create or edit chatbot pages:

  • AI Settings: Adjust the AI settings to control the chatbot's responses and behavior.
  • Appearance: Customize the appearance of your chatbot for a personalized touch.
  • Citation Preferences: Set citation preferences to ensure proper attribution of information.
  • White Labeling: Remove DocuChat branding and set your own logo and colors for a branded experience.

Share Your Chatbot

Got to your chatbots and click on the share icon on the right side of your chatbot to access sharing options:

  • Share with Team: You can invite team members to your DocuChat account who can access chatbots shared with team. This provides a secure way to collaborate on chatbots.
  • Share with Link: Share a link to your chatbot that can be accessed by anyone with the link.
  • Embed on Website: You can also embed your chatbot on your website as an iFrame (box) or as a floating chat widget. Simply copy the embed code from the chatbot settings and paste it into your website.
In the same page, you can also set question limits for your chatbot to control access and usage.
